Father Gedeon is originally from Constantinople, but was born and raised in Athens, Greece. When the circumstances allowed it, he and his family were repatriated to Constantinople in the year 2011. He currently lives in New York.

Fr. Gedeon is in charge of the Department of Registry for the Archdiocese of America, located in NYC.

Fr. Gedeon was a Novice Monk from October 2012 until March 2013 at the Holy Trinity Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monastery of Halki, Constaninople, immediately after became Monk at the same Monastery from March 2013 until June 2013. Fr. Gedeon was ordained by the then Metropolitan of Prousa, Archbishop of America Elpidophoros to the Diaconate and assigned to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, in June 2013 until January 2020.

In 2016, Fr. Gedeon supervised the redesign and preservation of the grounds of the Theological School of Halki, in Constantinople. The design was completed by the University of Neapoli. The themed grounds consist of three sections: the Garden of Virtues, the Crops Garden and the Garden of the Holy Bible where after a botanical study, over 350 of the various plants that are mentioned in the Holy Bible, were brought and planted in this Garden, the overall grounds are approximately 4 acres.

In January 2020, Father Gedeon was ordained to the Holy Priesthood by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America appointed Fr. Gedeon as Dean of the church of Saints Constantine and Helen, Jackson Heights, NY.

Fr. Gedeon looks forward to working with all parishioners and the faithful to rekindle the light of Greek Orthodoxy in America and support our Greek Orthodox Archdiocese.
